"Why Not On T.V.? ",
2 min 30 sec, 2004

Why Not On T.V. was created for the Dialog exhibition in 2004 curated by Karen Comer Lowe and Jessica Care Moore. It was designed as a dialog between Atlanta based artists and poets culminating in the creation of installations based on the poems. "Why Not On T.V." is a poem by James T. Trotter and questions the presentations of African Americans on television in relationship to their actual history and present realities. This piece has since been shown at Project Row Houses in Houston, TX, South X East exhibition at Florida Atlantic University, the Rialto Center for the Performing Arts, and many other venus.
